Im vergangenen Sommer begeisterten OVERSENSE mit der erfolgreichen Single „White Wolf“ (Quarantine Version) ihre Fans und sorgten Anfang dieses Jahres für einen gelungenen Auftakt mit ihrer Startnext Crowdfunding-Kampagne, bei der sie stolze 17.000,- € für ihr neues Album einsammelten. Nun ist es soweit und die junge deutsche Modern Melodic Metal Band kündigt mit „Egomania“ ihren zweiten Longplayer für den 17.09.2021 an. Das eindrucksvolle Album, das erneut über Dr. Music Records erscheint, wurde von Bandleader Danny Meyer in seinen Sunway Studios produziert und gemischt und das Mastering wurde vom Avantasia Keyboarder Miro Rodenberg sowie Olaf Reitmeier vom Gate Studio (Kamelot, Epica, Kissin’ Dynamite) übernommen. Thematisch perfekt passend zum anhaltenden weltpolitischen Chaos, Fridays for Future und dem gegenwärtigen Social Media Wahnsinn nimmt es mit seinen elf Songs u. a. gesichtslose Fashion und Beauty Influencer ohne Sinn und Verstand aufs Korn, gekonnt verpackt in fulminante, majestätische wie eingängige moderne Melodic Metal Hymnen. Now the time has come and the young German Modern Melodic Metal band announces “Egomania”, its sophomore long-player for September 17, 2021. The impressive album, released once again via Dr. Music Records, has been produced and mixed by bandleader Danny Meyer at his Sunway Studios and the mastering has been handled by Avantasia keyboard player Miro Rodenberg as well as Olaf Reitmeier of the Gate Studio (Kamelot, Epica, Kissin’ Dynamite).
