COWBOYS FROM HELL: Das neue Album „Running Man“ sprengt mit rauchenden Rock Kanonen, Funk Grooves und lautem Jazz alle Konventionen

Die drei COWBOYS FROM HELL reiten als kaum zu überhörende, toughe Wildwest-Musikanten durch die Schweizer und europäischen Lande und tummeln sich in höchst unterschiedlichen Arealen der Musiklandschaft. Nun kehren die lauten und wilden Instrumental-Virtuosen mit ihrem dritten Fusion Album „Running Man“, das am 02.11.2018 über Double Moon Records erscheinen wird, zurück. COWBOYS FROM HELL brechen mit Konventionen und Klischees, unterstreichen genau das, was vor nicht allzu langer Zeit die Musik in gut und schlecht, wertvoll und oberflächlich, spannend und routiniert, frei und reglementiert unterteilte – diesmal jedoch wesentlich subtiler, feiner, nachhaltiger. Sie agieren ohne Scheuklappen, überlegen nicht lange, ob dampfende Funk Grooves, rauchende Rock Kanonen oder blubbernde Elektronik in ein improvisatorisches Korsett passen. Sie probieren’s einfach. Dabei entsteht eine eigenständige Musik, geprägt von unbändigem Spielwitz, brachialer Energie und ungezügelter Spielfreude.

Bei den neun Songs ihres neuen Albums „Running Man“ dreht sich nicht mehr alles nur um Krawall als Erkennungsmerkmal. Im aktuellen Zentrum der Kollektivwünsche steht vielmehr die gemeinsame Spielhaltung. Das ist es, was das virtuose Werk von den beiden bisherigen Platten „Monster Rodeo“ und „Big Fish“ abgrenzt und zeigt, wie sich die COWBOYS FROM HELL weiterentwickelt haben.

COWBOYS FROM HELL: The new album “Running Man” breaks all conventions with smoking Rock cannons, Funk grooves and loud Jazz

The three COWBOYS FROM HELL ride through the Swiss and European countries as tough wild west musicians who can hardly be ignored and bustle around in very different areas of the music scene. Now the loud and wild instrumental virtuosos return with their third Fusion album “Running Man”, which will be released on November 2nd, 2018 through Double Moon Records. COWBOYS FROM HELL break with conventions and clichés, emphasizing exactly what not so long ago subdivided the music into good and bad, valuable and superficial, exciting and routine, free and regulated – but this time much more subtle, fine and lasting. They think out of the box, don’t think twice, whether steaming Funk grooves, smoking Rock cannons or bubbling Electronics fit into an improvisational corset. They just give it a try. The result is an independent music, characterized by irrepressible wit, brute energy and unbridled joy of playing.

The nine songs on their new album “Running Man” are no longer all about making a racket as a characteristic feature. In the current center of collective wishes stands rather the common playing position. This is what differentiates the virtuoso work from the two previous albums “Monster Rodeo” and “Big Fish” and shows how the COWBOYS FROM HELL have evolved further.
