Der deutsche Rockpoet JOHNROSE ruft mit seiner dritten Single „Calling For You“ aus dem kommenden Album „The Prophet’s Dance“ zu gegenseitigem Respekt und Vertrauen auf

Mit „Calling For You“ erscheint heute, am 19.10.2023, die neue Single von JOHNROSE, die eine weitere Facette seines Progressive Rock Albums „The Prophet’s Dance“ vorstellt, das diesen Winter über Dr. Music Records veröffentlicht wird. Nach dem melancholischen Auftakt mit „Around The Lake“ und dem sommerlich eingängigen „Manner Of Travelling“ handelt der neue Song von der Sehnsucht nach einer Führungsperson, die Verantwortung übernimmt. Der Song, der zugleich auch der Opener des Albums ist, beginnt mit einem Albtraum darüber, wie jemand verzweifelt nach seinem Präsidenten ruft, jedoch keine Antwort erhält und endet in einer ruhigen und intimen Atmosphäre, die von Vertrauen und gegenseitigem Respekt geprägt ist. Worauf es letztendlich ankommt, sind Glaube, Hoffnung und Liebe, aber auch darum, gemeinsam etwas zu bewirken. Das dazugehörige Lyric-Video wurde vom englischen Videografen Andy Pilkington produziert, der auch mit Größen wie Uriah Heep, Judas Priest oder Thunder arbeitet und der die aufrüttelnden Lyrics mit stimmigen Szenen verwebt. Auf dem Longplayer, der am 08.12.2023 veröffentlicht wird, lässt der Koblenzer die Mystik der Rheinromantik in neuem Glanz erstrahlen. Der deutsche Musiker und Multiinstrumentalist Johannes Rösgen, alias JOHNROSE, begann seine musikalische Laufbahn Mitte der 1970er-Jahre in der Schülerband Flashbolt und verdiente sich erste Sporen als Gitarrist der Progressive Rocker Athis. Seit 1982 ist er zudem Gitarrist und Sänger von Copyright, die neben unzähligen Auftritten 1999 auch ein Album veröffentlichte. Außerdem war er drei Jahre lang der Frontmann von Giant For A Day und eröffnete für Legenden wie Manfred Mann’s Earth Band und Alan Parsons. Seit 2015 tritt er hauptsächlich als JOHNROSE in Erscheinung und veröffentlichte die Doppel-CD „Ride The Raven“ basierend auf den Tapes aus seiner Zeit bei Athis Anfang der 80er-Jahre sowie anschließend die Alben „Behind The Gates“, „The Key“ und zuletzt „Wings“, die von der Musikpresse positiv aufgenommen wurden. With his third single “Calling For You” taken from the upcoming album “The Prophet’s Dance”, German Rock poet JOHNROSE calls for mutual respect and trust

Today, on 10/19/2023, JOHNROSE’s new single “Calling For You” has been released, revealing another facet of his Progressive Rock album “The Prophet’s Dance”, due out this winter via Dr. Music Records. After the melancholy prelude with “Around The Lake” and the catchy summery “Manner Of Travelling”, the new song is about the longing for a leader who takes responsibility. The song, which is also the album’s opener, begins with a nightmare about how someone desperately calls for his president but receives no answer and ends in a quiet and intimate atmosphere characterized by trust and mutual respect. What ultimately matters is faith, hope and love, but also taking a stand to effect a difference jointly. The accompanying lyric video was produced by English videographer Andy Pilkington, who has also worked with such greats as Uriah Heep, Judas Priest and Thunder and who interweaves the evocative lyrics with coherent scenes. On the full-length, which will be released on 12/08/2023, the Rhineland-Palatinate artist lets the mysticism of Rhine Romanticism shine in new splendor. Sophisticated, melodic and timelessly beautiful Rock music full of imagination and depth, wrapped in a warm and powerful sound, forms the musical cosmos of JOHNROSE. Thereby, he falls back on his longtime experience in Prog and Rock cover bands and inspires besides the high-class instrumentation with subtle lyrics.
