Nach zehn Jahren musikalischer Schaffenspause kehrt der ehemalige Angel Dust Sänger Dirk Thurisch endlich mit seinem nun gänzlich zur Band gewachsenem Projekt MERCURY TIDE zurück. Das neue Album „Killing Saw“ setzt genau dort an, wo Dirk mit dem großartigen Album „Why?“ aufhörte. Denn nun ist es endlich soweit: Wie ein Phönix aus der Asche kehrt einer der wichtigsten deutschen Melodic Metal Sänger zurück!

„Killing Saw“ fasziniert Fans und Presse weltweit mit Spitzenbewertungen und nun veröffentlicht die Band am 23. November mit „Searching“ einem der Album-Highlights, ihre erste Digital-Single über Limited Access Records. Dirk Thurisch in Bestform mit treibenden Gitarren und feinen Hooks.

Aber das ist nicht alles! Die Single wird in allen Download-Shops wie iTunes, Musicload oder Amazon MP3 mit MERCURY TIDEs persönlichem Tribut an Iron Maiden als exklusiven Bonus-Track veröffentlicht. Dirk Thurisch und seine Band haben eine brilliante, kraftvolle Version des Songs „Caught Somewhere In Time“ aufgenommen, das in der Originalversion als Titelsong des Alltime-Klassikers „Somewhere In Time“ 1986 erschien.

Dirk Thurisch – The Voice of Angel Dust is back!

After a break of ten years, former Angel Dust vocalist Dirk Thurisch finally returns with his band MERCURY TIDE, which once started as a project and now grew to a full-fledged band. The new album „Killing Saw“ is a natural progression from Dirk’s last album „Why?“. Eventually the time has come that one of the most important German Melodic Metal vocalists returns like a Phoenix, rising from the ashes!

„Killing Saw“ fascinates fans and press worldwide with top ratings and the band releases their first digital only single „Searching“ which is one of the album highlights on November 23rd through Limited Access Records. Dirk Thurisch is at his best with drifty riffs and fine hook lines.
