HENRIETTE: Die neue Country Pop Single „Lighthouse“ entfacht ein bittersüßes Leuchtfeuer der Gefühle

Mit ihrer ersten charmant eingängigen Single „Dream Boy“ sorgte HENRIETTE Ende September für eine Überraschung und ging direkt mit ihrem Indian Summer Ohrwurm bei zahlreichen Radios auf Rotation. Nun lässt die deutsche Country Pop Sängerin am 13. November ihre neue zweite Single „Lighthouse“ herbstlich melancholisch im Nebel über Dr. Music Records erstrahlen. Mit bittersüßer Stimme führt sie durch den Song und erzählt uns die Geschichte einer Situation, in welche jeder von uns geraten kann. Wenn das Leben wie eine riesige Flutwelle über einem zusammenbricht und man glaubt, alleine zu sein. Man das Gefühl hat endlos zu schwimmen, aber nie wirklich die Oberfläche erreicht. Mit der in Nashville gemeinsam mit US Country Star Lindi Ortega entstandenen Single „Lighthouse“ widmet sich HENRIETTE den Umständen im Leben, welche die Welt dunkel malen, die ausweglos erscheinen und jeglichen Halt nehmen. Pur, echt, simpel, ohne Filter, so versteht sich HENRIETTE. Sie ist in einer kleinen Stadt im urwilden Westen Deutschlands aufgewachsen und ihr wurde die Musik praktisch mit der Muttermilch eingeflößt. Einen Künstlernamen legt sie sich nicht zu, da sie von Herz zu Herz singt und einfach nur sie selbst sein möchte. Aufgrund eines Bauchgefühls packt HENRIETTE 2018 ihre Koffer, lässt alles stehen und liegen, fliegt nach Nashville Tennessee und taucht dort in die Musikszene ein. Sie schreibt Songs, tritt auf, nimmt Gesangsstunden, knüpft Kontakte. Nur drei Wochen nach ihrer Ankunft werden die zwei Produzenten Jay Tooke, Schlagzeuger der legendären Band The Steel Woods, und James Robertson, der u. a. als Gitarrist für Lindi Ortega, Dragonette, Brandi Disterheft, Clyde Stubblefield bekannt ist, bei einer Songwriting Session auf sie aufmerksam. 2019 ist sie zurück in Deutschland und hat jede Menge Geschichten und ihre Debüt-EP im Gepäck, die Anfang 2020 über Dr. Music Records in den Handel kommt. Klingt nach einem Märchen, fühlt sich auch so an.

Now the German Country Pop vocalist makes her new second single “Lighthouse” shine autumnally melancholic in the fog via Dr. Music Records on November 13th. With a bittersweet voice, she leads us through the song and tells us the story of a situation in which any of us can end up. When life has overtaken you, like a crashing wave and you believe you’re alone. One has the feeling to swim ever upward and never reach the surface. With the single “Lighthouse”, created in Nashville together with US Country Star Lindi Ortega, HENRIETTE dedicates herself to the situations in life that paint the world with darkness, from which there is no escape, that rob us of our foothold. Pure, real, simple, without filter, that’s how HENRIETTE considers herself. She grew up in a small town in the wild west of Germany and practically got the music instilled with her mother’s milk. She doesn’t use an artist’s name, because she sings from heart to heart and just wants to be herself. Listening to her urging inner voice, HENRIETTE packs her suitcases in 2018, drops everything, flies to Nashville Tennessee and dives into the music scene there. She begins writing songs, performs, takes voice lessons, establishes contacts. Only three weeks after her arrival, the two producers Jay Tooke, drummer of the legendary band The Steel Woods and James Robertson, well-known guitarist for e.g. Lindi Ortega, Dragonette, Brandi Disterheft, Clyde Stubblefield, become aware of her during a songwriting session. Back in Germany in 2019, she has lots of stories and her debut EP under her belt, which will be available early 2020 through Dr. Music Records. Sounds like a fairy tale also feels like one.

With her two singles “Dream Boy” and “Lighthouse” the German musician HENRIETTE, who graduated with honors in popular music – Jazz/Musical studies at the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig in 2013 and since then has been involved in major theatre productions and musicals, provides a breath of fresh air in the Country Pop scene.
