Die finnische Blues- und Gitarrenlegende BEN GRANFELT mit neuem Album „My Soul To You“ auf Tour durch Europa

Der finnische Altmeister an der E-Gitarre BEN GRANFELT kündigt mit „My Soul To You“ sein 16. Solo-Album an und beweist mit seinem riesigen Erfahrungsschatz sowie eindringlichen Gefühl für Raum und Zeit, gepaart mit virtuosem Gitarrenspiel erneut seine Stellung als Ausnahmemusiker. Sein Melodic Rock mit vielen Blues-Elementen sticht durch sein wahnsinnig gutes Gefühl für Tempo und Atmosphäre heraus. Auf seinem neuen Album wirkt erstmals auch seine Ehefrau Jasmine Wynants-Granfelt mit, gemeinsam singen sie PJ Harveys „This Is Love“. Auch seiner Wishbone Ash Vergangenheit zollt er mit dem Lap Steel Gitarren Gastbeitrag von Muddy Manninen bei diesem Song Tribut und der frühere Leningrad Cowboys Mastermind bekommt beim Titel „My Heroine“ Unterstützung von Bryn Jones samt seiner rauchigen Stimme. Erscheinen wird BEN GRANFELTs „My Soul To You“ am 22.06.2018 über A1 Records, dem Plattenlabel von Bass-Ikone Martin Engelien, der sich mit dem Finnen während eines gemeinsamen Auftritts bei seiner ‚Go Music‘ Reihe anfreundete.

BEN GRANFELTs neues Album „My Soul To You“, das zusammen mit seinen langjährigen Wegbegleitern Masa Maijanen und Produzent Okko Laru an Bass und Schlagzeug aufgenommen wurde, bestätigt ein weiteres Mal, dass er sich sogar auf den hohen Standards, die er sich selbst gesetzt hat, noch immer fortentwickelt. Der bluesige Melodic Rock brilliert einerseits durch sein chirurgisch-präzises Gitarrenspiel, welches sich reichlich Raum und Zeit für die passende Atmosphäre bringt, andererseits durch seine eigene feine Stimme sowie den Gastbeiträgen. Insgesamt ergibt sich ein wahrer Ohrenschmaus, der definitiv die verdiente Anerkennung ernten wird.

Finnish Blues and guitar legend BEN GRANFELT with new album “My Soul To You” on tour throughout Europe

The Finnish doyen on the electric guitar BEN GRANFELT announces his 16th solo album with “My Soul To You” and proves once again his position as an exceptional musician with his huge wealth of experience, paired with virtuosic guitar playing skills. His Melodic Rock has many Blues elements and stands out due to his extraordinary feeling for tempo and atmosphere. On his new album his wife Jasmine Wynants-Granfelt also appears for the first time, together they sing PJ Harvey’s “This Is Love”. He also pays tribute to his Wishbone Ash past with Muddy Manninen having a lap steel guitar guest contribution in this song. The former Leningrad Cowboys mastermind also gets support from Bryn Jones and his smoky voice for the title “My Heroine”. BEN GRANFELT’s “My Soul To You” will be released on 22.06.2018 through A1 Records, the record label of bass icon Martin Engelien, who made friends with the Finn during a joint appearance in his ’Go Music’ series.

BEN GRANFELT’s new album “My Soul To You”, which was recorded together with his long-time companion Masa Maijanen and producer Okko Laru on bass and drums, once again confirms that he is still evolving, even on the high standards he has set himself.
