Eingeleitet von festlichem Glockengeläut erscheint am 11.11.2022 über Dr. Music Records mit der Single „The Horse Beneath The Tree“ von NOGAPS MUSIC ein wunderschönes, gefühlvolles Lied für alle kleinen und großen Pferdeliebhaber:innen. Der herzerwärmende Song des britischen Künstlers Jonny Nogaps nimmt einen mit auf eine Reise in ein Weihnachtswunderland, in dem ein kleines Mädchen davon träumt, ein echtes Pferd unter dem Weihnachtsbaum vorzufinden. Großartig getragen von der einfühlsamen Stimme der jungen norwegischen Sängerin Hanne Sivertsen (Samana Rising) entfaltet „The Horse Beneath The Tree“ genau die richtige Stimmung für die Weihnachtszeit. Vom ersten Takt an denkt man an verschneite Wälder, Pferde, Lebkuchen, das warme Weihnachtsleuchten und fröhliche besinnliche Zeiten in kalten Winternächten. Genau dieses Bild wollte Songwriter und Pferdeliebhaber Jonny Nogaps einfangen, als er den Songtext verfasste und die Musik in seinem Studio vor der malerischen Kulisse der Isle of Skye komponierte. Jörgen Manke produzierte die romantische Ballade im Storyteller Studio in Norwegen und der Londoner Mastering-Spezialist Pete Maher (u. a. Katy Perry, Snow Patrol, Linkin Park) verpasste dem Weihnachtssong den letzten Schliff. Für das fabelhafte Single-Cover zeigt sich Illustratorin Julia Boot verantwortlich. Für die Orchester-Arrangements arbeitete der Songwriter mit dem in Los Angeles lebenden norwegischen Komponisten Audun G. Vassdal zusammen, der bereits mit dem Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra arbeitete und bei Serien- und Filmproduktionen wie The Passenger, Darkest oder Generation Mars beteiligt war. Um „The Horse Beneath The Tree“ samt dem von NOGAPS MUSIC selbstproduzierten stimmungsvollen Musikvideo genießen zu können, muss man kein Pferdeliebhaber sein. Die Schönheit der verschneiten Landschaften, die wachsende Vorfreude der Kinder auf das nahende Weihnachtsfest und die Atmosphäre der Erwartung sind in jeder Sekunde spürbar. Das ist wahrlich der Stoff, aus dem die Träume sind.

Mit der zauberhaften Geschichte eines Mädchens, das sich wünscht, ein Pferd unterm Weihnachtsbaum zu finden, hat sich Jonny Nogaps einen lang gehegten Traum erfüllt. Der gebürtige Engländer lebt seit einigen Jahren in Portree auf der Isle of Skye, wo er seine Songs im eigenen NOGAPS MUSIC Studio unter seinem Künstlernamen schreibt. Die erste Single-Veröffentlichung unter diesem Banner war „Breakaway“, der davon handelt, wie die Magie und die Liebe von Pferden einem jungen Mädchen hilft, eine gewalttätige und missbrauchte Kindheit zu überwinden. Neben diesen beiden Singles hat Jonny Nogaps vor allem instrumentale Soundtracks für Filme produziert. Mit „The Horse Beneath The Tree“ wollte der Musiker aber unbedingt wieder mit Lyrics arbeiten, da ihm bei der Arbeit mit den Instrumentalstücken schlichtweg der Gesang fehlte. Das wunderbare Ergebnis samt der bezaubernden Stimme von Hanne Sivertsen steht für sich.

Introduced by festive bell ringing, the single “The Horse Beneath The Tree” by NOGAPS MUSIC, a beautiful, soulful song for all young and grown-up horse lovers, will be released on 11/11/2022 via Dr. Music Records. The heartwarming song by British artist Jonny Nogaps takes you on a journey into a Christmas wonderland with a little girl dreaming of finding a real horse under the Christmas tree. Magnificently driven by the sensitive voice of the young Norwegian vocalist Hanne Sivertsen (Samana Rising), “The Horse Beneath The Tree” unfolds just the right mood for the Christmas spirit. From the first note, you think of snowy forests, horses, gingerbread, the warm Christmas glow and joyful, reflective times on cold winter nights. That is precisely the scene songwriter and horse lover Jonny Nogaps wanted to capture when he wrote the lyrics and composed the music in his studio in front of the picturesque Isle of Skye backdrop. Jørgen Manke produced the romantic ballad at Storyteller Studio in Norway, and London-based mastering specialist Pete Maher (e.g. Katy Perry, Snow Patrol, Linkin Park) put the finishing touches on the Christmas song. Julia Boot illustrated the fabulous cover of the single. For the orchestral arrangements, the songwriter collaborated with Los Angeles-based Norwegian composer Audun G. Vassdal, who already worked with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and was involved in series and film productions such as The Passenger, Darkest or Generation Mars. Jonny Nogaps has fulfilled a long-held dream with this enchanting story of a girl who wishes to find a horse under the Christmas tree. The song reflects his love for horses and how he remembers past Christmases thanks to the aura of a beautiful winter landscape on lonely mountaintops and the hope this season brings. Nevertheless, he also points out the great responsibility of such an animal, which in return is giving passion, joy and love. The native Englishman has been living in Portree on the Isle of Skye for several years, where he writes his songs in his own NOGAPS MUSIC studio under his stage name. The first single release under this banner was “Breakaway”, which is about how the magic and love of horses helped a young girl overcome a violent and abusive childhood. Besides these two singles, Jonny Nogaps has mainly produced instrumental soundtracks for films. However, with “The Horse Beneath The Tree”, the musician wanted to work with lyrics again, as he lacked vocals while working with instrumentals. The fantastic result, along with the adorable voice of Hanne Sivertsen, stands for itself.
