Stellt eure Sitze in eine aufrechte Position und schaltet auf Warp-Geschwindigkeit, denn mit „Adjusting The Space“ legen PULSE die interstellare Cyber Future Metal Messlatte höher. Mit futuristischen Drum-Sounds, harten Gitarren und einer kratzig diabolischen Stimme, die gut zum Alien-Overlord Image passt, erschaffen die Österreicher einen brachialen, doch ungemein tanzbaren Industrial Electro Metal Sound, der den außerirdischen Eroberern gut zu Gesicht steht. Das von Fans lang ersehnte zweite PULSE Studioalbum „Adjusting The Space“ mit seinen 13 Songs und dem Artwork von Richard Touzimsky erscheint am 06.11.2020 über NRT-Records. Mit „Black Knight“ wurde bereits Ende Mai der erste Single-Appetizer samt Lyric-Video veröffentlicht und dieser gibt einen ersten Vorgeschmack worauf sich alle Freunde des extragalaktischen Cyber Metals im Herbst freuen können.

2014 von Nemesis, dem Mastermind der österreichischen Black Metal Band Astaroth gegründet, legten PULSE zügig ihren Grundstein für die Kreuzung aus Cyberpunk und Metal. Mit ihrem 2015 über CCP Records erschienenen Debütalbum „Extinction Level Event“, hinterließen sie einen bleibenden Eindruck in der Gothic, Electro und Metal Szene. Neben Sänger und Gitarrist Nemesis sind Bassist Vidar, Schlagzeuger Pulsar und Gitarrist Dom Mitglieder des PULSE Squads, um der Menschheit den Sound ihres Heimatplaneten näherzubringen. Live hinterließen sie ihre außerirdischen Spuren bereits u. a. auf dem Schattenwelt Festival in Wien oder dem legendären Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig. Nach zahlreichen Konzerten wurde es Zeit, die nächste Phase der irdischen Eroberung einzuläuten und so zogen sich PULSE im Spätsommer 2019 ins CCP Studio zurück, um „Adjusting The Space“ mit Claus Prellinger (Dornenreich, Jack Frost, Thirdmoon) zu produzieren. Mit „X 31‘ 26‘43 NY 109‘ 430“W“ eröffnen sie das Album mit einer Anspielung auf den Roswell-Zwischenfall im Jahr 1947. Weiter geht es mit der zweiten Single, einer markanten Warnung aus dem Outer Space namens „We Won’t Come In Peace“ mit der die Spezies Mensch eindringlich gewarnt wird ihre eigenen Planeten mit mehr Respekt zu behandeln, denn ansonsten landen die Aliens nicht in friedlicher Absicht. Das doppeldeutige „New Elastic Freak“, gleichzeitig auch die dritte Single, handelt von einer psychopathischen Sexualstörung mit einer Sexpuppe bzw. der Untersuchung eines leblosen Alien-Körpers. Mit dem Titeltrack stellen sich die vier kosmischen Musiker offiziell den Erdbewohnern vor und erlauben diesen eine neue Generation des Lebens willkommen zu heißen. Seit 13.000 Jahren umkreist der sogenannte „Black Knight“ Satellit unsere Erde. Doch was ist sein Auftrag? Überwachung? Oder ist seine Aufgabe doch mit unserem Schicksal verbunden? Mit „Major Tom“ ist PULSE eine überraschend eingängige Adaption des NDW-Klassikers von Peter Schilling gelungen. Zum Finale hat sich der preisgekrönte venezolanische DJ und Remixer Zardonic (Bullet For My Valentine, Corroded, Liv Sin) mit „AlienAngel“ (Zardonic Remix) einen Klassiker der Band vorgenommen und diesen gekonnt und brutal in seinen Style transformiert.

Aus dem Industrial Cyber Metal kommend und diesem Genre frischen Wind verleihend, veröffentlichen PULSE mit „Adjusting The Space“ ein Album, das nicht nur Fans der Industrial Szene überzeugen wird, wenn es ab Anfang November über unseren Planeten herfällt. Put your seats in an upright position and switch to warp speed, because with “Adjusting The Space” PULSE raise the interstellar Cyber Future Metal bar. With futuristic drum sounds, heavy guitars and a scratchy diabolical voice that fits the alien overlord image well, the Austrians create a brute, yet incredibly danceable Industrial Electro Metal sound that is well suited for the extra-terrestrial conquerors. The sophomore PULSE studio album “Adjusting The Space” with its 13 songs and the artwork of Richard Touzimsky, long-awaited by many fans, will be released on November, 06th, 2020, via NRT-Records. With “Black Knight”, the first single appetizer, along with a lyric video, has already been released at the end of May and it gave a taste of what friends of extragalactic Cyber Metal can look forward to in autumn.

Founded in 2014 by Nemesis, the mastermind of the Austrian Black Metal band Astaroth, PULSE quickly laid the foundation for the crossbreeding of Cyberpunk and Metal. With their 2015 debut album “Extinction Level Event”, released through CCP Records, they left a lasting impression on the Gothic, Electro and Metal scene. Besides vocalist and guitarist Nemesis, bassist Vidar, drummer Pulsar and guitarist Dom are members of the PULSE squad to bring the sound of their home planet closer to mankind. Live on stage they already left their extraterrestrial traces on the Schattenwelt Festival in Vienna or the legendary Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig. After numerous concerts, it was time to ring in the next phase of the terrestrial conquest and so PULSE retreated to CCP Studio in late summer 2019 to produce “Adjusting The Space” with Claus Prellinger (Dornenreich, Jack Frost, Thirdmoon). With “X 31‘ 26‘43 NY 109‘ 430“W” they open the album with an allusion to the Roswell incident in the year 1947. It continues with the second single, a striking warning from outer space called “We Won’t Come In Peace”, which warns the human species to treat their own planet with more respect otherwise, the aliens will not arrive in peace. The ambiguous “New Elastic Freak”, which is also the third single, is about a psychopathic sexual disorder with a sex doll resp. the examination of a dead alien body. With the title track, the four cosmic musicians officially introduce themselves to the earthlings and allow them to welcome a new generation of life. For 13.000 years, the so-called “Black Knight” satellite is orbiting our earth. What is its mission? Surveillance? Or is its task connected with our fate after all? With “Major Tom”, PULSE has succeeded in a surprisingly catchy adaptation of the NDW classic by Peter Schilling. For the finale, the award-winning Venezuelan DJ and remixer Zardonic (Bullet For My Valentine, Corroded, Liv Sin) has taken one of the band’s classics, “AlienAngel” (Zardonic Remix), and skilfully, brutally transformed it into his style.

Coming from Industrial Cyber Metal, PULSE blow fresh wind into this genre with the release of “Adjusting The Space”, an album that will not only convince fans of the Industrial scene when it hits our planet in early November. We definitely welcome our new intergalactic overlords!
