REPTIL: „Throne Of Collapse“ – der psychoakustische Industrial Metal Befreiungsschlag

Es ist Laichzeit: REPTIL ist geschlüpft. Die schwarzblütige Kreatur entführt mit ihrem ausdrucksstarken Befreiungsschlag, dem Debütalbum „Throne Of Collapse“ in die Welt des Metaphysischen, quasi als Gegenentwurf zur formatierten Gesellschaft. Durch brachiale Klänge, verbunden mit rotzigen Grooves sowie filigranen und extremen elektronischen Einsprengseln, erzeugt es eine cineastische Klangwelt, die aufwecken will. Das Album mit seinen neun Tracks ist der morbide Aufschrei einer wütenden Kreatur, die umgeben ist von den fremdgesteuerten unfreien Wesen des digitalen Zeitalters. REPTIL ist der Prototyp der Gegenströmung. Genrebefreit zwischen Metal, Industrial, Alternative, Post-Rock und Soundtrack agierend. Immer am Limit des maximal Machbaren schreitet es durch felsige und atemberaubende Untiefen und veröffentlicht seine psychoakustische Wundertüte am 19.05.2017 über Razor Music. Vorab werden bereits die Singles „Soulride“ am 17.03.2017 sowie „Reptoil, Inc.“ am 28.04.2017 samt den verstörenden und aufrüttelnden Musikvideos erscheinen und dem REPTIL den Weg in die Gehörkanäle der aufmerksamen Freigeister ebnen!

REPTIL besteht aus Individuen, die sich miteinander verbunden haben, um einen deutlichen Impuls zu setzen. Diese sind dabei ihre bürgerliche Identität aufzulösen, um sich aus der Mitte unserer formatierten Gesellschaft zu verflüchtigen. Ihr Universum des Metaphysischen dient als Gegenentwurf, ihre Vision ist Emanzipation, die Strategie ihre Unabhängigkeit. Nie war der Mensch fremdgesteuerter und unfreier in seiner Freiheit als in der heutigen Head Down Generation. Der abstrakte Freiheitsbegriff ist zum Illusionsgefängnis geworden. Wir hängen in den Seilen und Fängen endloser Endzeitgesänge, im fatalen Todeswirbel. Es geht immer weiter und führt nirgendwo hin. REPTIL ist ein Befreiungsschlag und eine Rückbesinnung auf die Macht des Einzelnen zur Selbstbestimmung. Das Werk oszilliert zwischen expliziter und ausdrucksstarker Kunstperformance, cineastischen Klangwelten, kolossaler Brachialmusik, rotzigen Grooves und ausgefeiltem Elektronikextrem, das Zähne zeigt. Die Kollaborateure zelebrieren ein maskenreiches Versteckspiel und bringen einen schrillen Look mit einer psychoakustischen Kombination aus donnernden Trommeln, hackenden Stromklampfen, manischen Sequenzen, wütenden Bassläufen, Inszenierung und Tanz. Dabei wird emotional berührt, gelitten, zerstört und wieder aufgebaut und das von Titel zu Titel durchweg intensiv und eindrucksvoll. Mit einschneidend intensiven Songs wie dem Opener „Reptoil, Inc.“ oder dem epischen „Monolith“ sowie dem monumentalen Titelstück „Throne Of Collapse“ gelingt es REPTIL seine Zielsetzung in bestmöglicher Weise umzusetzen. Mit „One World One Nation“ liefert das schwarzblütige Wesen dazu noch die eindringliche, gefühlvoll epische Ballade, die alle Außenseiter, Freaks, Cosplayer und Andersdenkende der modernen Welt vereint. „Soulride“, die erste Single samt Musikvideo, ist ein harter Song, der mit stakkatoartigem Riffing und nahe am Wahnsinn vorbei schrammendem Gesang, die Alternative Metal Dancefloors der Republik aufmischt. In eine ähnliche Kerbe schlägt „Quantum Trojan“, allerdings mit deutlich elektronischerem Einschlag. „Beyond“ sorgt zum Ende eines bombastischen, psychopathisch gewaltigen Albums für ein morbides Finale, das einem REPTIL gebührt.

REPTIL agiert genrebefreit, mit Puls am Limit, bis zum Größtmöglichen. In ihm fließt schwarzes Blut, an ihm klebt der Schweiß des Unmöglichen. Sein Element und Treiber: die Kunst der Macher. Der Urimpuls und Prozess stehen für die Künstler über einem fertigem Produkt. REPTIL ist in felsige und atemraubende Untiefen vorgedrungen. It’s spawning season: REPTIL has hatched. With its debut album “Throne Of Collapse”, the black-blooded creature takes you to the metaphysical world, more or less as an alternative to the formatted society. Throughout brutal sounds combined with spiteful grooves as well as filigree and extreme electronic elements, a cinematic soundscape has been created to wake people. The album, with its nine tracks, is the morbid outcry of an angry creature that is surrounded by externally controlled and inhibited beings of the digital age. REPTIL is the prototype of the crosscurrent. Unshackled by preconceived genres acting in between Metal, Industrial, Alternative, Post-Rock and Soundtrack. Always reaching for possibilities’ limits it is striding throughout rocky and breathtaking depths and releases its psychoacoustic bag of goodies on 19th May 2017 through Razor Music. REPTIL consist of individuals who have conjoined to create a distincted impulse, in the process of breaking up their civic identity, to break out from the midst of our formatted society. Their metaphysical universe is their alternative plan, emancipation their vision, independence their strategy. Never in history have humans been more externally controlled and less free in their freedom as today’s ’Head Down Generation’. The abstract concept of freedom has turned into a prison of illusions. We are on the ropes and caught up in endless siren songs, a fatal spiral of death. It goes on and on, but ultimately leads nowhere. REPTIL liberates and returns each individuals’ autonomy. The work oscillates between explicit and expressive artistic performance, cinematic soundscapes, colossally brutal tunes, spiteful grooves and electronic extremes, edgy but sophisticated. The collaborators celebrate a game of hide-and-seek, brimming with deception, managing to create a jarring style by using a psychoacoustic mix of thundering drums, choppy electric guitars, manic sequences, angry bass lines, orchestration and dance. In the process, you will be moved, suffer, witness destruction and reconstruction with consistent intensity, unrelentingly impressive throughout all songs. With a dramatic effect and intensity REPTIL succeed in realize its goals in the best way possible with songs like the opener “Reptoil, Inc.” or the epic “Monolith” as well as the monumental song “Throne Of Collapse”. The song “One World One Nation” is a powerful and expressive epic ballad, delivered by the black-blooded being, which brings all the outsiders, freaks, cosplayer and dissidents of the modern world together. “Soulride”, the first single along with its music video, is a tough strong song stirring up the international Alternative Metal dance floors using vocals that are being close to madness and in a way staccato riffing. “Quantum Trojan” smashes in a similar notch although with a clearly electronic strain. “Beyond” makes sure that the bombastic, psychopathic and powerful album is ending with a degenerated final a REPTIL deserves.

REPTIL is unshackled by preconceived genres, moving at breakneck speed, ever reaching for possibilities’ limits. Black blood flows in his veins, he is coated in the sweat of the impossible.
