Bereits 2012 veröffentlichten KISSIN’ BLACK ihre erste EP „Ever Enough?“ und stürmten mit der Single direkt auf Platz 2 der Amazon MP3-Single-Downloadcharts. Nun versuchen sie mit ihrem neuen Album „Heart Over Head“ an diesem Erfolg anzuknüpfen. Die zwölf Tracks wissen direkt von der ersten Sekunde an zu überzeugen. Los geht es bereits am 19.09.2014 mit einer ganz besonderen ersten Single-Auskopplung samt Musikvideo als Vorgeschmack. Und zwar übertragen die Schweizer den zeitlosen W.A.S.P. Klassiker „Wild Child“ in ihre eigene mystische Dark Country Welt. Passend dazu drehte die Band ihr erstes melancholisches Musikvideo in einem finsteren Wald mit einer mysteriösen Schönheit, deren Augen verbunden sind. Dazu kommen Songs wie das hypnotische „Ella-Marline“, das von einem Mädchen handelt, welches in einer dunklen Welt lebt und unantastbar ist. „Heart Over Head“ der Titelsong des Albums beschreibt eine Liebesgeschichte, die den Verstand zum aussetzen bringt und wo nur die Gefühle zählen. Auch „More Than Life“ erzählt von einer Liebesbeziehung, welche scheitert und wo die Trauer einen in den Wahnsinn treibt. „Goth Has No Name“ hingegen handelt nicht von der Liebe, sondern von Sünden, Leid und Verzweiflung. Bei „Blues: Unpardonable“ geht es ein wenig härter und schneller zu, bleibt aber doch Dark Country Rock, der direkt ins Ohr reitet. Inhaltlich singt Sänger Giuseppe Mastrogiacomo von der Besessenheit des Teufels. KISSIN’ BLACK vereinen unterschiedliche Stile, haben verschiedene Leidens- und Lebensgeschichten und ergänzen sich in einer Mischung aus Latino-Temperament und Schweizer Sorgfalt.

In 2012 KISSIN’ BLACK already released their first EP “Ever Enough?” which directly hit the second position of the Amazon MP3 single download charts. Now they are trying to achieve this success with their new album “Heart Over Head” again. The twelve songs know how to be convincing by the first second. It is already starting on 19th September 2014 with an extraordinary first single release including a music video to get a foretaste. In fact the Swiss apply the timeless W.A.S.P. classic “Wild Child” to their own mythical Dark Country world. The band produced their first melancholic music video matching it in sinister woods with a mysterious blindfolded beauty. Along with it there are songs like the hypnotic “Ella-Marline” which deals with a girl who lives in a dark world and is inviolable. “Heart Over Head” is the title song of the album and describes a love story, which suspense normal logic and intelligence and only the feelings matter. “More Than Life” tells the story of a broken relationship and the grief drives you crazy. “Goth Has No Name”, however, doesn’t deal with love but instead with sin, sorrow and desperation. “Blues: Unpardonable“ sounds a little harder and faster but can still be considered as Dark Country Rock and directly gets stuck in your head. In terms of content vocalist Giuseppe Mastrogiacomo sings about the possession of the devil. KISSIN’ BLACK unite different styles, provide various stories of suffering and life stories and complement each other in a mixture of Latino temperament and Swiss accuracy.
