JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR schließen diabolisch, dreckigen Death ’n’ Roll Pakt mit „Lücifer“

Die schwedische Death ’n’ Roll Höllenmaschine JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR rast mit Vollgas weiter auf dem staubigen Asphalt des Rock ’n’ Roll Highways. Angeführt von ihrem axtschwingenden Frontmann Robban Bergeskans hat sich die Stockholmer Meute, bestehend aus Schlagzeug-Uhrwerk Nicke Forsberg sowie dem früheren Refused Gitarristen Pär Jaktholm erneut im legendären Sunlight Studio verschanzt, um den fulminanten Nachfolger ihres beinharten Albums „35 Supersonic“ aufzunehmen, der dieses Mal von Nickes Bruder Fred Forsberg von den Fvck Life Studios (Mass Worship, Anchor, Gust) gemeinsam mit Produzentenlegende Tomas Skogsberg (Entombed, The Hellacopters, Amorphis) gemischt wurde. Für das Mastering wurde mit Brad Boatright von Audiosiege (Converge, C.O.C., Black Tusk) auf die harte amerikanische Note gesetzt. Herausgekommen ist ein bösartiges, heftiges Album, das seine verschiedenen musikalischen Einflüsse aus dreckigem Heavy Rock, Doom, Stoner und Old School Death Metal zu einem einzigartigen diabolischen Gebräu verschmelzen lässt. Nicht ohne Grund trägt das am 24.05.2019 über Dr. Music Records erscheinende Album Nr. 3 den eindeutigen Titel „Lücifer“.

Die elf neuen Riff-Monster zeigen deutlich die Spuren der bewegenden Ereignisse der letzten drei Jahre mit zahlreichen Meilensteinen, wie dem Auftritt beim Wacken Open Air 2016, der direkt darauf folgenden Tour mit den US-Giganten Clutch durch fünf Länder wie auch Shows mit großartigen Heavy Rock und Metal Bands wie z.B. Greenleaf, Fatso Jetson, Orange Goblin, Spiritual Beggars, Warrior Soul oder nicht zuletzt der Europatour mit Bullet und Screamer, bei der auch der neue zweite Gitarrist Tobbe Engdahl seine Feuertaufe erfuhr. Nicht vergessen sollte man auch den gefeierten Showcase-Gig beim wichtigsten Event der Livemusik-Branche, dem Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival 2018, wo JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR in Groningen das internationale Live-Business überzeugten. Gleiches gilt für die Tatsache, dass die Jury des Midem Artist Accelerators 2017 die Band unter die Top 45 der besten jungen Talente in ganz Europa wählte. Ins neue Album „Lücifer“ steigen die vier Musiker direkt mit dem Titeltrack und der ersten Single samt Musikvideo ein, gefolgt vom dreckigen Uptempo-Rocker „Flesh ’n’ Bones“, bevor es mit „Never Sleep Again“ wirklich heavy wird und es die Skandinavier mit fetten Riffs richtig krachen lassen. Der „Boogeyman“ ruft zum Circle Pit und mit der derben Aufforderung „Suck On My Balls“ schleudern JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR einen groovigen Midtempo-Stampfer aus den Lautsprechern. Gerade rechtzeitig, um mit „Out Of My Head“ eine höllische Killer-Riff-Dampfwalze vom Stapel zu lassen, die einem die Gehörgänge endgültig frei bläst und gleichzeitig die Magengegend mit fettem Basssound zum Beben bringt. Robbans direkter Gesang brennt sich im Kopf fest und spätestens mit dem Mörder-Groove im Mittelteil will man einfach nur noch eine wütende ‘Wall of Death’ lostreten! Der dreckig schnelle Rock ’n’ Roll Song „From Death To Dawn“ leitet das letzte Drittel mit einem John Carpenter Horror-Feeling ein. Beim finalen Song „Black Blood“ sorgen JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR dann noch für eine faustdicke Überraschung und zeigen, dass sie auch diabolisch angehauchten Retro Rock der Marke The Devils Blood oder Doom á la Reverend Bizarre können.

The Swedish Death ’n’ Roll infernal machine JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR continues to race at full throttle on the dusty asphalt of the Rock ’n’ Roll highway. Led by their axe-swinging frontman Robban Bergeskans, the Stockholm pack consisting of drum machine Nicke Forsberg and former Refused guitarist Pär Jaktholm has once again entrenched itself in the legendary Sunlight Studio, to record the furious successor of their ruthless album “35 Supersonic”, this time mixed by Nicke’s brother Fred Forsberg from Fvck Life Studios (Mass Worship, Anchor, Gust) together with producer legend Tomas Skogsberg (Entombed, The Hellacopters, Amorphis). For the tough American tone it was banked on Brad Boatright from Audiosiege (Converge, C.O.C., Black Tusk) for the mastering. The result is a malicious, fierce album that merges its various musical influences from dirty Heavy Rock, Doom, Stoner and old school Death Metal into a unique diabolical brew. It is not without reason that album no. 3, which will be released on May 24th, 2019 through Dr. Music Records, bears the clear title “Lücifer”.

The eleven new riff monsters clearly show signs of the moving events of the last three years with numerous milestones, such as the performance at the Wacken Open Air 2016, the tour with the American giants Clutch through five countries as well as shows with great Heavy Rock and Metal bands like Greenleaf, Fatso Jetson, Orange Goblin, Spiritual Beggars, Warrior Soul or last but not least the European tour with Bullet and Screamer, during which the new second guitarist Tobbe Engdahl also had his baptism of fire. Not forgetting the acclaimed showcase gig at the most important event of the live music industry, the Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival 2018, where JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR convinced the international live business in Groningen. The same applies to the fact that the jury of the 2017 Midem Artist Accelerator voted the band among the top 45 best young talents in Europe. The four musicians enter the new album “Lücifer” directly with the title track and the first single along with the music video, followed by the dirty uptempo rocker “Flesh ’n’ Bones” before it gets really heavy with “Never Sleep Again” and the Scandinavians really crack it with fat riffs. The “Boogeyman” calls to the circle pit and JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR throw a groovy midtempo rammer out of the speakers with the coarse request “Suck On My Balls”. Just in time to launch “Out Of My Head”, a hell of a killer riff steamroller that finally blows your ears away and, at the same time, shakes your stomach with a fat bass sound. Robban’s direct singing burns itself into your head and at the latest with the killer groove in the middle you just want to kick off an angry wall of death! The filthy fast Rock ’n’ Roll song “From Death To Dawn” introduces the last third with a John Carpenter like horror feeling. With the final song “Black Blood”, JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR provide a huge surprise and show that they can also play diabolically inspired Retro Rock like The Devils Blood or Doom Metal á la Reverend Bizarre.

This quotation can be left uncommented, even if the Swedes incorporate significantly more facets into their increasingly complex sound. “Lücifer” reveals how Death ’n’ Roll has to sound like nowadays and is a must buy for fans of hard Heavy Rock, no matter if they like Entombed, Motörhead, High On Fire or Greenleaf!
