Mit ihrer brandneuen Single „I Got You“ samt energetischem Musik- und Lyric-Video, zeigt die Sängerin und Songwriterin HARRIETA wie eine echte Pop Ballade in bester Soul Manier klingt. Das am 14.08.2020 über Dr. Music Records erscheinende „I Got You“ ist mittlerweile die vierte Veröffentlichung der in Hamburg lebenden afrikanischen Künstlerin. Der fabelhaft sinnliche Track besitzt alle Elemente eines perfekten Warm Pop Songs, einen Refrain der hängen bleibt, charmante Lyrics und eine Melodie, die man nicht so schnell vergisst.

Wie so viele große Soul Sängerinnen hat auch HARRIETA ihre Gesangskarriere im Kirchenchor gestartet. So entdeckte sie schon früh ihre Liebe zur Musik und ihr Talent als Sängerin. Dieser Einfluss, der ihre frühe musikalische Entwicklung geprägt hat, ist auch noch heute in ihren Power Pop Songs zu hören. Doch auch der Titelsong und das groovig eingängige „Slow Me Down“ werden mit der Zeit für weitere Aufmerksamkeit sorgen. Mit „No More Cages“ erschien der bis dato letzte stimmungsvolle Song am 1. Mai. Für die afrikanische Sängerin markiert diese Veröffentlichung einen Meilenstein, der einen persönlichen Durchbruch in ihrer Musikkarriere symbolisierte. Nun veröffentlicht sie ihre neue Single „I Got You“, welche das nächste Zeugnis ihres persönlichen Wachstums und ihrer Hingabe ist, die sie tagtäglich in ihre Musik steckt. With her brand-new single “I Got You” along with its energetic music and lyric video, singer and songwriter HARRIETA shows how a real Power Pop ballad sounds like in the best soul manner. Released on August 14th, 2020, via Dr. Music Records, “I Got You” is now the fourth release by the Hamburg-based African artist. The fabulously sensual track has all the elements of a perfect Warm Pop song, a catchy chorus, charming lyrics and a melody you won’t easily forget.

Like so many great soul vocalists, HARRIETA started her singing career in a church choir. Thus, she discovered her love for music and her talent as a singer at an early age. This influence, which shaped her early musical development, can still be heard in her Power Pop songs today. With her passionate, powerful singing, these experiences reflect her signature sound. Before HARRIETA found her new home in Germany, the native Ugandan singer spent several formative years in Cape Town, South Africa, from which she draws strength for her musical career. With her first single “Hologram”, the musician confidently began to gain a foothold in the Pop underground scene in 2019. During spring this year, she followed up with four brand-new songs of her first EP “Speak Your Mind”. Especially the successful songs “Can’t Do It Myself” with six-figure streaming plays and the soulful “Power Of Love” are particularly striking and stand out among the tracks. But also the title song and the groovy catchy “Slow Me Down” will attract more attention over time. With “No More Cages”, the last atmospheric song so far was released on May 1st. For the African vocalist, this release marks a milestone that symbolized a personal breakthrough in her music career. Now she releases her new single “I Got You”, which is the next proof of her personal growth and devotion, which she puts into her music every day. The singer-songwriter wrote the single, mastered by producer Elijah Kuttikhen at EKmixmaster Studio (Barbara Douglas, Aristote Olela, Matteo Luzzi), on a business trip where she missed her family. With this single, HARRIETA wants to entertain Pop Music fans all over the world, support them, just as they give her joy and help to pave her way to greater success.
