Heute, am 22.08.2019, veröffentlicht die Female Fronted Cyber Tech Metal Band ASCEND THE HOLLOW ihre dritte Single „Vessels“ über Dr. Music Records und steigt energisch in die irische Abtreibungsdebatte ein. Das Lyric-Video zur Single aus dem aktuellen Album „Echoes Of Existence“ ist inspiriert von der Diskussion über das Abtreibungsrecht im katholisch geprägten Irland, die zum Referendum im Mai 2018 sowie dem durchschlagenden Erfolg der Pro-Choice-Aktivisten führte. Gleichzeitig sind die Lyrics als eine Anspielung auf das Gedicht von William Butler Yeats ‘The Second Coming’ zu verstehen. Today, on the 22nd of August 2019, the Female Fronted Cyber Tech Metal band ASCEND THE HOLLOW is releasing their third single “Vessels” and vigorously enters the Irish abortion debate. The lyric video to the single from the latest album “Echoes Of Existence” is inspired by the discussion about the abortion rights in the traditionally catholic Ireland, which led to the referendum in May 2018 and a resounding victory of pro-choice activists. At the same time the lyrics also include an allusion to the poem ‘The Second Coming’ by William Butler Yeats. His dramatic, apocalyptic imagery reiterates the battle between the modern world, in this case represented by science and human rights, and the ancient world with its focus on religion and conservatism.
